With rooftop solar implementation now mandatory in the Thane region, Salasar Exotica, a premium residential high-rise in Mira Road, partnered with Krivi Energy to install a 25kW solar power system. This system powers the building’s common utilities, offering a sustainable energy solution while ensuring compliance with regulations.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  1. Resilient Design for High Wind Pressure
    The rooftop solar structure was meticulously engineered to endure strong wind pressures, ensuring durability during extreme weather, including recent storms.
  2. Adaptable for Unique Roof Layouts
    The installation catered to the building’s expansive rooftop with no intermediate levels, requiring innovative, customized engineering for a seamless solar structure.
  3. Non-Penetrative Installation Technique
    A non-penetrative mounting system was used to preserve the structural integrity of the rooftop while securely anchoring the solar panels.

    The solar system reduces electricity costs for common utilities by more than 50%, directly benefiting residents by lowering monthly maintenance charges.
  2. Environmental Benefits
    With a 25kW solar system, Salasar Exotica achieves an annual reduction of over 25 metric tons of CO₂ emissions—equivalent to planting more than 1,200 trees every year.
  3. Employment Generation
    The project contributed to local employment opportunities during installation and continues to support jobs in system maintenance and monitoring.
